Getting Started with Cloudmersive and Single Sign On
Overview
Cloudmersive provides Single Sign On support (SSO) for the Cloudmersive account portal for Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and Google Identity Platform.
Approach
Cloudmersive release on cloud-based identity and a zero-configuration model. There is no need to configure or connect your identity platform directly to Cloudmersive; everything is designed to automatically work when clicking on Sign in with Microsoft or Sign in with Google.
Microsoft Azure Active Directory
For Azure Active Directory identity, simply navigate to the Cloudmersive login page and click on Sign in with Microsoft. This will redirect to the Microsoft authentication page. Enter your email address. This will then redirect you to the organization’s login page (or custom login page). Complete your login. Finally, the browser will redirect back to the Microsoft main login page, and then finally back to Cloudmersive. Your Single Sign On identity will then appear in the Cloudmersive portal.
Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Azure Active Directory Federation Services
To use Microsoft Active Directory for identity, you will need to configure Azure Active Directory and synchronize it with your on-premises Active Directory, for example through Azure Directory Federation Services (ADFS) or other recommended approaches by Microsoft. Once Azure Active Directory is configured, simply follow the steps outlined above.
Google Identity Platform
To use Google Identity Platform, simply navigate to the Cloudmersive login page and click on Sign in with Google. This will redirect to the standard Google identity platform authentication page. Enter your email address and complete the flow to sign in. Your Single Sign On identity will then appear in the Cloudmersive portal.
